Mr. Mislan's Information Technology and Media Class

This is the second lesson Mind Labs students learn foundational Graphic Design skills within Photoshop.  The assignment is to take their existing knowledge of their RIASEC interest code which helps them align their interests with possible careers.  In this assignment, they demonstrate their understanding of Masks and Layers as well as the Brush and Selection Tools.  They then can practice further manipulation of the digital files to express their own take on their RIASEC Interests Codes. Overview We have been introduced to the career of graphic design with the video a day in the life of a Google graphic designer . In this lesson, you will learn initial graphic design skills.  You will use industry equivalent programs and learn how to start using a Photoshop like web app called Pixlr to create new image combinations from different images.
